Membership for the 500+ Club 2025 will open January 2025

This club has been running for several years and has raised funds to restore rebuilt Battle of Britain Locomotive No. 34059, Sir Archibald Sinclair. With the successful completion of this locomotive, it has been decided that the club will continue to support the appeal for the L&SWR 0-4-0 Dock Tank No. 30096, (96) Normandy.

This popular little locomotive has served the Bluebell Railway well for many years. A regular performer on the famous Monday shunts and an ambassador for the Bluebell at such events as the 1990 ‘D Day’ celebrations at Southampton Docks, the 2008 ‘1968 and all that’ exhibition at the NRM York and more recently the successful ‘Eastleigh 100’ event at the works.

A target of £50,000 has been set for its restoration, with a figure of £25,000 already raised we hope to start restoration early in  2011.

New members and multiple memberships are very welcome but applicants must be over 16 years of age. The club will consist of at least 300 memberships costing £15 each – you can buy as many as you wish. Each membership will be allocated a unique number for the year March 2011 to February 2012. All the draws will take place on the 25th of each month and the prizes will be as follows:
